The Mission Polyvalente Spirituelle de Ça-Ira (MIPS/CI)
A FLORIDA-BASED 501(c) (3) PUBLIC CHARITY ORGANIZATION
Objective
The objective of the MIPS/CI project is multi-folded - Polyvalent Intervention in Education (primary, secondary, technical, spiritual), basic care/education in health, nutrition, and finally a theoretical and practical program in agriculture. Each component of this project aims to address multiple aspects of the systemic issues that touch the life of the average Haitian living in Haiti. This initiative is an ongoing and/or continuing intervention. This being said, each intervention - be it didactic or practical - is being conducted with small age groups, and other with adults and elderly. Consequently, participants will be evaluated periodically on their needs and a family support plan as well as an after care and follow-up plan to keep their loved-ones on track will be implemented. “It is not the impossible that procreates despair, but the possible not attained and/or reached that creates despair” (Georges Michel, Commissioner of the European Union).
The MIPS/CI believes that being informed and/or literate through objective training and/or education is vital to one’s autonomy and success in life, wherever he/she may be. By participating in this program, recipients will become marketable and will be able to develop a greater appreciation of themselves and of their loved ones, as well as for the place he/she calls home- be it today or later.
The MIPS/CI does welcome everybody to its project – be it disabled, children and adults which can demonstrate their interests to, at least, one part of its project.
